
Tim Mixon brings exceptional leadership, public service experience, and strong community roots to the Oak House Children’s Advocacy & SANE Center Board of Directors. A lifelong resident of Climax, Georgia, Tim serves as a Captain with Bainbridge Public Safety, where he has dedicated his career to protecting and supporting the families of our region.
Tim holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s Degree in Administrative Leadership, giving him a deep understanding of both frontline response and organizational management—expertise that directly strengthens Oak House’s mission and multi-county expansion.
Beyond his professional service, Tim is a devoted family man. He and his wife, Kelly, are raising two children and are actively involved in the local youth sports community. Tim is a travel baseball coach and also owns and operates M&P Cattle Farm, balancing community engagement with a strong work ethic and a commitment to rural South Georgia values.
Tim’s experience in law enforcement, passion for child safety, and dedication to the families of our 12-county region make him an invaluable leader and advocate for Oak House.

Shea Campbell brings more than two decades of dedication and leadership to both the financial sector and the communities she serves. With 24 years in banking and finance—including 13 years specializing in lending—she began her career as a loan processor before advancing into mortgage and retail lending. Shea is a 2024 graduate of the Georgia Banking School at the University of Georgia, where she was also a Third-Year Bank Executive Winning Team Member in the Bank Simulation program, demonstrating excellence in financial strategy and decision-making.
As the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for Oak House CAC & SANE Center, Shea plays a vital role in strengthening governance, supporting program expansion, and championing child-centered services across our region. She also serves as a Bainbridge High School CTAE Advisory/Stakeholder Representative and is an active member of the Community Outreach Committee for the Southwest Georgia Board of Realtors for the upcoming 2026 term.
A proud Climax, Georgia native, Shea is deeply rooted in faith and service. She serves as the Church School Superintendent and Treasurer at St. John Community Church, where she continues her commitment to community leadership and outreach.
Shea’s broad experience, strong community ties, and heart for service make her an invaluable leader within Oak House and across Southwest Georgia.

Andrew Sheffield serves as the Georgia Power Area Manager for Clay, Decatur, Early, Grady, Miller, Mitchell, Seminole, and Thomas counties, as well as portions of Baker and Calhoun counties. In this role, he leads community outreach and education initiatives, working to strengthen local partnerships and promote programs that support low- to moderate-income families. Andrew is a regular speaker throughout the region, offering guidance on power conservation and sharing Georgia Power resources that help communities grow and thrive.
With more than a decade of experience in the utility industry, Andrew began his career at Three Notch EMC, where he spent 10 years as a lineman, trouble-man, and crew leader. He later joined Georgia Power, serving as a trouble-man and then as the trouble supervisor for the entire South Georgia region before stepping into the Area Manager role.
Andrew is deeply invested in community development and serves on several local and regional boards, including the Salvation Army, United Way, the Miller, Early, and Seminole County Chambers of Commerce, the Georgia Youth Science & Technology Centers (GYSTC) Board, Georgia Leads, and Rotary.
He holds degrees from Bainbridge College and Valdosta State University.
Brock Bailey Staples is a proud Bainbridge native dedicated to serving her community with compassion and leadership. She is married to Kyle Staples, and together they are raising two sons, Rhoades (5) and Bailey (2). Brock is the practice manager at her family-owned business, Port City Animal Hospital, where she helps oversee daily operations and ensures high-quality care for both clients and their pets.
Brock earned her degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Georgia Southern University, equipping her with a strong foundation in human services, wellness, and community engagement.
Deeply committed to local involvement, Brock is an active member of the Mardi Gras Society of Southwest Georgia and a graduate of the Leadership Decatur County Class of 2025. She also serves in the nursery at Southwest Baptist Church, where she is a devoted member.
In her spare time, Brock enjoys spending quality time with her family and creating meaningful memories with her children.
Brock’s dedication to service, family values, and community involvement make her a valuable asset to the Oak House Board of Directors.

Leroy Akins is a proud Bainbridge, Georgia native with a heart for service, education, and community leadership. He is a devoted husband and father to two beautiful daughters. His family also includes two beloved dogs—Ellie, a Yorkie, and Cupka, a trained police K9 specializing in drug detection and tracking.
Leroy is employed by the Decatur County School System, where he teaches the Criminal Justice Pathway (Corrections) at Bainbridge High School. In this role, he prepares and mentors the next generation of criminal justice professionals, giving students hands-on knowledge and real-world insight into public safety, law enforcement, and correctional careers.
Leroy’s passion for education, combined with his commitment to protecting and strengthening the Bainbridge community, makes him a strong advocate for children and families. His leadership and experience serve as a valuable asset to the Oak House Board of Directors.

Nancy Murphy is married to Khalil Murphy, and together they have a three-year-old daughter named Ellie. A Bainbridge native, she currently serves as AVP/Branch Manager at First Port City Bank, while also pursuing a degree in Business Management. In her free time, Nancy enjoys spending quality time with her family and staying active at the gym, as well as engaging in Child Advocacy initiatives that promote awareness around issues such as those addressed by the local sexual assault center.
