
Amy Eakin has served the Oak House Children’s Advocacy & SANE Center with dedication and compassion since 2012. As Executive Director, she oversees all operations, programs, and multidisciplinary partnerships across the South Georgia and Pataula Circuits, ensuring children and families receive the highest level of trauma-informed care.
Amy holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and a Master’s Degree in Nonprofit Management, giving her a strong foundation in both human services and organizational leadership. She is an Advanced Forensic Interviewer, Extended Forensic Interviewer, and trained Forensic Interviewer, with more than a decade of experience interviewing child victims and coordinating care with law enforcement, DFCS, medical providers, and prosecution teams.
A committed community member, Amy is married to her husband, Van, and together they share four children and two grandchildren. She is an active member of Southwest Baptist Church, where she serves as the Sunday School teacher for the 3–5-year-old class.
Amy’s leadership, expertise, and unwavering passion for protecting children and supporting families have been central to Oak House’s growth, expanded reach, and mission-driven impact across Southwest Georgia.

Sarah Beth Harrison has been a dedicated part of the Oak House team since 2017 and currently serves as the CAC Program Manager. In this role, she oversees daily program operations, coordinates multidisciplinary team efforts, and ensures children and families receive compassionate, trauma-informed support throughout the investigation and healing process.
Sarah Beth is a trained Forensic Interviewer and Advanced Forensic Interviewer, bringing extensive experience and specialized skill to her work with child victims and partner agencies across the region.
She is married to her husband, Anthony, and together they have two daughters who keep their home filled with laughter and joy. Sarah Beth is also a devoted member of Climax Baptist Church, where she is actively involved in her faith community.
Sarah Beth’s commitment to excellence, steady leadership, and heartfelt passion for serving children make her an invaluable member of the Oak House team.

McKenzie Conder Kisor is a lifelong resident of Bainbridge, Georgia, and serves Oak House as the Outreach Coordinator and Advocate. With a strong background in victim support, legal processes, and community engagement, McKenzie brings energy, compassion, and creativity to her role in serving children and families across our region.
Before joining Oak House, McKenzie worked at the District Attorney’s Office as a Legal Assistant, gaining valuable experience navigating the criminal justice system and supporting victims through complex cases. She also has a diverse professional background, including work in private investigations, and she is the owner of Well on Wheels, where she serves as a bartender and she also teaches yoga and promotes holistic wellness within the community.
McKenzie holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and uses her education and field experience to support multidisciplinary teams, provide advocacy services, and strengthen community awareness around child abuse prevention.
Outside of work, McKenzie is a devoted wife to her husband, Joe, and a proud pet mom to her rabbit, Bunchee, and cat, Catan. She enjoys spending time in her yard, gardening, and finding unique treasures through thrift shopping.
McKenzie’s passion for helping others, paired with her creative spirit and deep love for her community, makes her an invaluable part of the Oak House team.

Jennifer Lord is a SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) services at our sexual assault center. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and is a Registered Nurse (RN), certified as both SANE‑A (adult/adolescent) and SANE‑P (pediatric). With her extensive clinical experience and dedication to trauma-informed care, Jennifer ensures high-quality SANE services that support survivors and collaborate with child advocacy and multidisciplinary partners.

Carolyn Newberry is a Registered Nurse and certified SANE-A (adult/adolescent) and SANE-P (pediatric). As one of the original nurses when Oak House began offering SANE services, she has been a cornerstone of our medical response team at this vital sexual assault center. Carolyn is also a seasoned expert witness in court and has compassionately served hundreds of women and children through her work in Child Advocacy, providing them with dignity, care, and clinical expertise.

Melissa Hawkins is a Registered Nurse and certified SANE-A (adult/adolescent) and SANE-P (pediatric). As an expert witness in court, she combines her medical expertise with courtroom professionalism to enhance the legal process, particularly in cases involving child advocacy. Melissa is a dedicated nurse who is committed to providing compassionate, trauma-informed care at a sexual assault center for survivors of sexual assault.
