Founded in 2007, Oak House has been dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the lives of children in our community through child advocacy for over 15 years. What began as a one-staff umbrella organization in Grady County evolved into a more centrally located facility when it moved to Decatur County in 2011. In 2023, Oak House CAC & SANE Center became an independent 501(c)(3) organization, continuing to serve as a vital sexual assault center for those in need.
Today, Oak House operates with a committed team consisting of a full-time Executive Director, a CAC Program Manager, a part-time Clinical Director, three contract staff members, and one dedicated volunteer. While we’ve grown and adapted over the years, our unwavering commitment to child advocacy and supporting those affected by trauma remains at the heart of everything we do.

Our mission at Oak House CAC & SANE Center is to provide services that promote security and stability for at-risk families, children, and individuals. As a dedicated child advocacy organization, each piece of Oak House Center's history comes together to form a place of safety, health, and hope for children and youth throughout the South Ga. Judicial Circuit, including our vital role as a sexual assault center.
